On Friday, February 2, former Boerne Champion High School standouts Carmen Vela and Gabriela Vela’s current college team, the UMHB Crusaders, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division III game against the St. Thomas Celts.
The game took place in Houston, Texas. This was their first matchup against the St. Thomas Celts this season.
The Crusaders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at 5 p.m. in Belton, Texas against Southwestern Pirates.
