Hillary Hickland, a Republican recently elected to the Texas State House representing the 55th district, has used her social media account to highlight campaign activities and endorsements.
On August 6, 2025, Hickland posted: “Flight of the Dems, day 2. #HHfor55 https://t.co/SNzrOC5QSl”.
Later that same day, she shared her appreciation for gubernatorial support: “I’m honored to have the support of Governor @GregAbbott_TX, a proven leader who continues to fight for the values that make Texas strong. Thank you, Governor, for your leadership and for trusting me to keep standing up for parents, service members, and the freedoms we hold dear. https://t.co/jboOtSJmoK”.
On August 7, 2025, Hickland acknowledged others’ contributions in another post: “What an honor! Thank you all for your outstanding service! https://t.co/cgTYPLWt2X”.
Hickland was elected in 2025 to succeed Hugh Shine as state representative for Texas’s 55th House district. She ran as a Republican and now represents this central Texas district in the state legislature.
