There were two Asian students enrolled in Gause ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.
Data showed that Gause ISD schools welcomed 163 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.
Gause ISD roughly covers schools within Milam County and has a main office in Gause.
Gause Elementary School was the only school in the district which enrolled Asian students, welcoming two students in the 2021-22 school year.
