The Bell County flea market has been unusually empty the last few weeks, causing vendors to worry that they might lose their business.
"We're all scared because we don't wanna lose our business," Vickie Roberts, manager of the flea market, told KWTX. "Each one of our vendors out here have their own business as well and they're scared because for some of them, this pays their bills."
The flea market has been operating for more than 30 years and Roberts said business is approximately a fourth of what it typically is.
Rep. Brad Buckley said President Donald Trump's CARES Act will help local businesses like the flea market manage. But vendors are still trying to sell more by offering more produce and items to their customers, Roberts said.
"We've just decided as a family and as a business to put it in God's hands," Roberts told KWTX.
