City of Cameron issued the following announcement on July 2.
Public hearings will be held for the following items on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at The Yards of Cameron, 301 Adams Avenue, Cameron, Texas 76520:
- Zoning Map Amendment to rezone approximately 3.956 acres of land of the W W Lewis A-30 Survey from Industrial (M) to Residential (R1)) district for the property generally located at MGM Subdivision
- Zoning Map Amendment to rezone approximately 10.26 acres of the W W Lewis A-300 Survey from the Commercial (C) to Residential (R1) district for the property generally located at the Oakland Heights Subdivision
- An Ordinance of the City of Cameron, Texas, Amending Chapter 14 of the City’s Code of Ordinances Related to Wrecker Storage Yards, Providing for Definitions; Providing for Special Use Permits; Providing a Penalty for Severability; Providing for an Establishing an Effective Date
- Public Participation Opportunities to discuss 2019 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
