City of Harker Heights issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
On October 27, 2020 from 8am to 5pm, the water may be off due to city crews conducting a repair on an existing 8-inch water main. Therefore, this boil water notice will go into effect beginning at 8am on October 27, 2020 for the impacted area. This repair work will take place near 4110 Broken Arrow Drive. The following impacted locations are included:
• Broken Arrow Drive
• Hannahawk Circle
• Pawnee Trail
• Quanah
• Tahuaya Drive
• Atoka Trace
• Iroquois Drive
• Kiamichi Trail
Due to loss of pressure to the lines in this area, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the system to notify all affected customers to boil their water prior to consumption.
