CITY OF CAMERON: Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase I - Solids Handling

City of Cameron issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.

Project is Wholly Funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) thru the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB)

Description of Project:

  • Installation of two (2) 15 Cubic Yard Sludge Dewatering containers including structural concrete pad, tipping stands, site work, exterior piping and fencing around the equipment. 
  • Installation of a Polymer Feed System for the dewatering containers including FRP building, electrical improvements, site work, feed lines and connections to existing structures. 
  • Sludge wasting system will also include two (2) Progressing Cavity Sludge Pumps with associated electrical improvements, suction and discharge piping and site modifications. 
  • Demolition and Removal of Existing Sludge Drying Beds including disposal of the removed material, restoration, and grading of the site for future improvements.
