City of Harker Heights issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
Harker Heights Fire Department is collecting new and unwrapped gifts for elementary through high school aged children for the annual Santa Pal program.
Items are accepted Dec 1 - 17. Collection boxes can be found at City Hall, Recreation Center, Library & Activities Center, Police Department, and of course at the Fire Station.
Items collected range from toys, games, books, and puzzles.
