Of the 3,002 people living in Salado in 2019, 49.4 percent (1,482) were women and 50.6 percent (1,520) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Centroplex News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 738-to-713. In the 65 and over age range, there were 377 females and 376 males.
