Census Bureau: More men than women in Fort Hood in 2019

Of the 23,508 people living in Fort Hood in 2019, 29.4 percent (6,920) were women and 70.6 percent (16,588) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Centroplex News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 14,457-to-4,544. In the 65 and over age range, there were 11 females and five males.
