There was a single gas station in cities across Coryell County selling regular gas at the price of $2.57 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 10, according to GasBuddy.com.
Of the five gas stations in cities within Coryell County, just one offers regular gas.
The average price of regular gas in Texas was $2.80, compared to $2.75 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
