There were 8,112 students enrolled in Copperas Cove ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.3% of them were boys, and 49.7% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Copperas Cove ISD students was white, accounting for 36.7% of the student population.

Copperas Cove ISD roughly covers schools within Coryell County with its main office in Copperas Cove.

Among the 11 schools in Copperas Cove ISD, Copperas Cove High School recorded the highest enrollment of 2,260 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
