There were 751 students enrolled in Priority Charter Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 10.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53% of them were boys, and 47% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Priority Charter Schools students was white, accounting for 34.8% of the student population.

Priority Charter Schools roughly covers schools within Bell County with its main office in Morgans Point Resort.

Among the four schools in Priority Charter Schools, Cove Charter Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 267 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
